One of our ‘essentials’ modules covering project control, using practical industry examples to illustrate how we address cost and schedule throughout the project lifecycle.
Proactive, effective project control professionals are in demand. The ability to put to use the plethora of project data that is generated to accurately forecast where a project’s outturn cost and schedule are headed is an undervalued skill. This one-day course will cover the essential topics that comprise project control for the engineering and construction industry. From generating an estimate and a baseline plan, to monitoring against these, proactively assessing risks and change against the baselines, and using various techniques such as earned value analysis and trending to deliver timely and relevant data and guidance to the project management. Working with highly relevant industry case studies to enable the delegates to quickly gain an introductory appreciation of this discipline.
