A career spanning five decades of dealing with commercial / contractual risk across a wide spectrum of engineering and construction projects in a variety of managerial roles provides the bedrock of experience upon which to help project teams realise their potential to deliver projects successfully, especially in challenging situations. Caroline has over 30 years in Human Resources, most of her career has been spent working in large corporate companies. She is a member of the CIPD and has a Masters in Human Resource Management.

Sylvia is a Certified Accountant and has 35 years’ experience of working for a variety of SME businesses including 10 years in the banking sector in the City.

She has responsibility for all Financial and Company Secretarial duties as well as playing an active role in the running of the business. Since joining Kingsfield in 2018 Sylvia has implemented improved accounting systems and achieved more timely processing and greater efficiency whilst at the same time constantly reviewing costs and improving effectiveness.

Holding a Law Degree, an MBA, and a Diploma in International Commercial Arbitration specializing in International Construction contracts, Carmen has been involved in many international projects, which have allowed her to gain experience in contract management and negotiation, arbitration support, claims preparation, change management, and cold eyes reviews on both owner and contractor sides and from bidding to execution stages.
As a hands-on trainer, Carmen believes in more than just conveying information—the aim is to cultivate understanding and inspire action. By leveraging interactive exercises, real-world examples, and a touch of creativity and improvisation, Carmen aims to transform a sometimes dry topic into a dynamic learning experience. Franz has extensive project management experience after a career in international plant construction in infrastructure, energy, and pharma sectors. His consulting & coaching portfolio is firmly rooted in business & project reality and ranges from advising on the implementation of PMO and project management processes, project coaching, business process improvements including innovation and product development, to organisational change initiatives and mergers & acquisitions. He is also an experienced project management trainer & educator who has lectured in Project Management at the Technical University, Vienna. He holds PMP®, IPMA-CPM & Scrum Master certifications. Franz is a ‘no-nonsense’ person known for his integrity and strong values – qualities which he brings to his assignments with clients and business partners.

Paul is a chartered engineer and has extensive experience over nearly 40 years of managing commercial risk on major projects and programmes. Paul has successfully developed and defended against claims for contractors and employers. Paul was one of the pioneers of project risk management and is a published author on risk management, cost management and cost estimating for high-risk and complex projects.

Geoff has extensive experience as a director and manager in the energy and utility sector with a career spanning over 40 years.
Geoff has extensive experience as a director and manager in the energy and utility sector with a career spanning over 40 years.
He has started up and run several joint ventures and executed many types of project, including partnering and alliancing arrangements using performance-based contracts. He has also led teams in the analysis and optimisation of business processes, identifying improvements and implementing change. This includes leveraging his experience and expertise to support others, delivering specific project management training both virtually and face-to-face, with more focussed hands-on coaching and mentoring of individuals where required.

Andrew comes with over 25 years extensive experience in helping teams, individuals and organisations to work more effectively, through designing, developing and delivering bespoke programmes.

Michelle has more than 20 years of experience in infrastructure, nuclear, utilities, and various other industries. She is recognised as a technical expert in her specialism of planning and risk along with having a substantial background in cost and estimating.
Michelle Banner has more than 20 years of experience in infrastructure, nuclear, utilities, and various other industries. She is recognised as a technical expert in her specialism of planning and risk along with having a substantial background in cost and estimating. Michelle is experienced in delivering EPC, R&D and engineering contracts for infrastructure, utilities and nuclear projects. She has worked in all aspects of project delivery from bidding through to commissioning and closeout.
Michelle has been involved in the development of Level 3 and Level 6 Apprenticeship Standards through the ECITB employer-led trailblazer working groups. It is through this involvement that she has developed a passion for developing the next generation of project controllers, whether that be through training, assessing or end point assessment. In support of this, she also enjoys working with organisations in undertaking project controls transformation projects, from setting up PMOs and functions through to the identification, development and implementation of improvement plans.
