The Role
At Kingsfield Academy, Associate Trainers play a critical role in delivering our training courses and programs. Our associates are a diverse group of individuals passionate about developing others and have many years of real-world industry experience in their chosen fields. They have held senior positions in some of the world’s major Engineering Construction organisations or investor organisations, working within project management functions, such as commercial, project controls, contract management, risk management or legal. They are typically self-employed, retired or are enjoying a better life/work balance.
About You
You are likely to possess the following experience and expertise;
- Held senior posts in contractor or owner organisations in project management, commercial/contract/risk management, project controls (cost/schedule), estimating, construction management
- Outstanding training, coaching and facilitation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skill in English
- Proven ability to develop trusting relationships with stakeholders
- Comfortable presenting content and working with groups digitally(Zoom, MS Teams etc.)
- Strong desire to help others in their development through training and mentoring
- Intellectual curiosity about people and organisation issues
- Ability to roll-up your sleeves and be creative to find solutions and get things done
- Ability to operate independently, but a preference to work in a team
- Possess discretion when handling confidential or sensitive information
