Description
This ECITB approved course is designed to give the learner an overview of the principles and practices of estimating and how the role is linked to all activities company wide.
Delegates will learn the process, techniques and methodologies involved in developing an estimate across the complete project lifecycle.
Using case studies, group activities and discussion, and expert tutor led sessions this course provides a practical introduction to the role of estimating in engineering construction projects.

- Good estimating practice, process and documentation

- Estimating techniques and approaches

Who is this for?
The course is designed for both those new to the estimating role as well as for those with some experience but requiring a broader perspective. It has also been found to be beneficial for the development of staff working in another capacity but requiring a working knowledge of estimating (project management, discipline engineers etc.) and especially for graduate training schemes.
Delivered over 3 consecutive online sessions for virtual training or 2 days for classroom based) for groups of 16 learners.
