Effective Project Oversight is a leadership development program that explores the role and contribution of senior management in supporting the successful delivery of projects, programs or portfolios.
The Effective Project Leadership program has been specifically developed to help senior leaders prepare for their role as a project sponsor or as part of a project steering group.
This blended program addresses the key topics of vision, governance, stakeholder management, crisis intervention and leadership behaviours for project directors/managers, project sponsors and senior leaders.

Learning aims
- Explore the role of the project sponsor / oversight from project development through to operations in EPC projects
- Understand contracting strategies, associated risk profiles and management control
- Understand and review the project key performance indicators to ascertain work scope performance & delivery of the contractual and commercial objectives
- Identify trends from performance data and compare these to the project baseline to identify changes, associated impacts, recovery actions and respective liabilities
- Recognise the leadership skills and behaviours necessary for success in the role of project sponsor
