Description
This ECITB approved course introduces diversity and inclusion (DEI) in the workplace and integrates essential UK legal principles with behavioural awareness and change. It ensures that engineering construction employers meet their legal obligations under the Equality Act and take positive action to create inclusive workplaces. Designed and delivered in partnership with UK law firm Freeths.

- Adopting inclusive behaviours

- Understand the business case for diversity and inclusion
- Recognise relevant UK law that governs rights and obligations for a diverse and inclusive workforce
- Describe terminology commonly used to describe DEI initiatives
- Explain governance and organisational policies surrounding DEI
- Understand why and how to challenge non-inclusive behaviours
- Recognise the importance of inclusive behaviours in the workplace
