New Year, New Skills at Kingsfield Academy

After the festive cheer of Christmas and the revelry of New Year’s Eve, it’s not uncommon to feel a bit low in January. In fact, Blue Monday is set to fall on the 15th of January this year, a time that is regarded by many, as being the most miserable day of the year.

But here’s the silver lining –  the arrival of a new year brings with it a fresh start and a wonderful opportunity for self-enhancement and learning a new skill also goes beyond professional development; it contributes to personal growth as well, boosting your self-confidence, fostering resilience and broadening your perspectives.

That’s why we are delighted to announce two new additions to Kingsfield Academy’s current lineup: Principles of Estimating and Commercial Competence XSeries.

Principles of Estimating

This ECITB-approved course is designed to give the learner an overview of the principles and practices of estimating and how the role is linked to all activities company-wide. Delegates will learn the process, techniques and methodologies involved in developing an estimate across the complete project lifecycle.

Commercial Competence XSeries

In our, ECITB-approved Commercial Competence XSeries, we have brought together four of our elearning courses that cover the project’s critical topics: change, claims, stakeholder management and negotiations – giving you a holistic program of learning based on critical issues universal to all projects.

Driven by government environmental commitments and an increased focus on energy security, there remains a strong demand for skilled project professionals in the industry. With both of these courses being ECITB-approved, now is an ideal time for in-scope levy-paying organisations to take full advantage in 2024.
